While we miss the in-person Ballot Showcase event, it is an honor to present to you these videos showcasing each organization that made our 2021 ballot. Each organization submitted their own videos on a tight timeline and we are grateful for their work and creativity.

In 2021, WFED will award a total of $100,000. Funding is broken down into the following categories:

  • Inspiration Grants
    $52,000 total will be awarded. Applicants may apply for up to $26,000. Two Grants will be awarded in this category.

  • Impact Grants
    $24,000 total will be awarded. Applicants may apply for up to $8,000. Three grants will be awarded in this category.

  • Acorn Grants
    $24,000 total will be awarded. Applicants may apply for up to $8,000. Three grants will be awarded in this category.

2021 Inspiration Grants

Total to be awarded $52,000
Inspiration Grants do not have a specific focus, thereby inspiring nonprofits to identify and address our community’s most pressing needs. Applicants can apply for up to $26,000. All agencies are presented in alphabetical order by grant category. Members will vote for (2) two of the following (5) five finalists:

2021 Impact Grants

Total to be awarded $24,000
A total of three (3) Impact Grants of up to $8,000 each will be awarded to nonprofit organizations offering direct impacts on the western slope of El Dorado County. All agencies are presented in alphabetical order by grant category. Members will vote for (3) three of the following (6) six finalists:

2021 Acorn Grants

Total to be awarded $24,000
A total of three (3) Acorn grants of up to $8,000 each will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that have not previously received a grant from the WFED. New and established nonprofits are encouraged to apply. All agencies are presented in alphabetical order by grant category. Members will vote for (3) three of the following (6) six finalists:
